The new trailer for the latest Spider-Man movie been released giving more details about the plot.
Andrew Garfield replaced Tobey Magure as Spider-ManStarring Brit actor Andrew Garfield, the film tell a new story about the web-slinging superhero, aka Peter Parker.
Raised by his aunt and uncle, Spidey goes in search of the truth surrounding his parents' disappearance after finding a clue in a briefcase belonging to his dad.
His quest takes him to the lab of Dr Curt Connors, played by Welsh actor Rhys Ifans, who has a dark secret of his own, in the form of The Lizard.
Questions are also raised as to whether Parker acquisition of his superhuman abilities from the bite of a spider was a mere accident or a pre-planned event.
Parker's love interest, Gwen Stacey, played by Emma Stone makes an appearance in the trailer – with the pair shown kissing.
The Amazing Spider-Man comes off the back of the huge success of another superhero film, Marvel Avengers Assemble, which this weekend broke the US box office record held by Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2.
Released worldwide on July 3, the Spider-Man reboot comes just two weeks before the new Batman film hits the big screen.
Directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Christian Bale, it will be the final film in the franchise.
Garfield was cast as Spider-Man after Tobey Maguire quit the series.

The 36-year-old, along with director Sam Raimi, stepped down after it was decided the fourth film would not be a sequel but take Parker back to high school.
Many critics argue it has come too soon after last decade's trio of films. The first came out in 2002.
But the producers are confident they have a hit on their hands as a sequel is already being penned by writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.
Announcing the move last month, Matt Tolmach and Avi Arad said: "Alex and Bob have a unique ability to write a great character and spectacular action that makes them pitch perfect for Spider-Man."
"They have an innate understanding of what makes Peter Parker not just a superhero but a hero for us all."
